As a mountain biker i've been exploring in and out of the tropical forest, jungles, valleys, hills and mountains of east asia. Its dense, bushy, trees canopy are
shadowing the forest floor completely but yet cooling and refreshing with the sounds of tropical animals filling the ambiences. This is my land where my ancestors used to walk on for many generation. However its not a place where you can boast yourself and taking anything out from mother nature into your own possession. Of course this place are full of mystic and spiritual being that inhabits the land....yes! i've experienced 'it'. Many foreigner and vandals lost in these forest because their path being misled by this 'being' due to their negligence and disrespect to the tropical forest. Which is why many news published about foreigner got lost and rescue at from forest in East Asia. Forest that have strong presence of mystic being includes Thailand, India, Burma, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, China and Japan....if you watched some Youtube video clip on this region yes they are 'strong' in their presence. If you wanted to explore safely and survive this tropical forest just follow this rules:
- Do not take out anything from the forest or vandalized unknown object.
The reason is some object either living and non-living object might belongs to such entity's possession especially attractive and unique object. - Do not say each others names.
Because these entity will know each other name and start to lure that named individual to astray out of the path by mimic their partner voice......this incident happens a lot. - When nature calls ask permission to pee or dump.
Invisible being might be sitting or standing nearby and its rude to pee and dump in front of 'them'. - Walk or stay within paved path.
So you don't get accidentally stomp or trip over unwanted 'entity' and even so with animals. - Ask permission when entering.
Some places are belong rightfully to such 'entity' and you're just normal guest else intruder. - Do not compliment or follow sweet scents.
Sweet scent that appear suddenly means an 'entity' trying to lure you or waiting for you to acknowledge their existence. If you compliment it will take interest in you. Just ignore it and move on! - Do not follow unknown person.
This happens a lot on foreigner and even local resident who got lost usually at valleys, hills or mountainous area where 'entity' resides. The 'entity' will make show up as 'attractive' human being and signaled any forest visitor to follow them unconsciously. This incident happens on national news. - Avoid quiet area.
No sounds of animal, insects or living things? Stay out of this area
because even animals and insects knows incoming danger by staying silent. It can be the presence of paranormal 'entity' or incoming dangerous animal such as tiger or bear. - If you heard sounds of 'people' or 'crowd' passing by yet invisible, stop and be quiet.
The forest is a place for 'spirit' or 'soul' pilgrimage or congregate away from living being. You don't want 'them' to notice that you're a nearby.
As extra note during a serious forest search and rescue for lost people in this part of asian forest its normal for an official to have a religious figure to tag a long for the task....and you know how serious it is. There are so much for me to tell but the above listed are most fundamental.
