The older you are the faster time goes especially if your age goes beyond 35 and above. The reason is because older people stop learning things and constantly doing same activities routinely throughout the day. I had my adult friends always complaining about how their day time feels shorter. That is true, if you look from the perspective of science and observation between old experienced adult and young people who still learning new things. That's why when we were young teens break time between classes in schools felt like forever but evening play time feels longer too because young brains is curious and still in learning mode.
So if you wanted your day time feels longer then start learning new things and experience new activities. My job as programmer at work place involve learning and building new things. When i have to learn new programs, designs and codes in the office time seems to slow down realizing it not lunch time yet. But when i stop learning and continue execute routine task that i well versed time goes fast in a blink of an eye... its lunch time already. Last week i have lots of left over un-spent annual holidays; so i woke up early cycling to a different location, takes lots of different aerial photos on my drones, fly my R/C plane model in differrent environment, do some window shopping, walking around town, dine in in different restaurant, ordered different dishes then at night trying out new VR activities all in just one day. When i check my watch to my surprise i felt my day time was slower or time seems to lagged.... a minutes felt like an hours. Between waking up and bedtime days seems to be longer. If you enjoy the same thing time 'repeatedly' goes by like warp speed! There you go, if you wanted to slow down time then go and experience new things everyday. It can be as simple as walking around in new places or trying out new activities. Its all about letting our brain to learn new things and time will slow down unconsciously. That how i ended up with lots of hobby and outdoor activities so my brain can enjoy some diversity. Hehehe!
