We are still in pandemic lockdown period especially the Covid-19 Delta variant lurking around; working at home scheme between four walls and huge amount of spare time had me going to utilized my time to the fullest. My creativity is in full drive! I've completed handful amount of projects for weeks but nothing is giving much impact than immortalizing one of my favorite 'go to' R/C plane in my collection; the HOBBY KING Pitts Special. If you've been reading and watching me in action through the years this blue white HK Pitts Special have been always my hardcore side kick for outdoor park flying especially FPV activities. After almost a decades this magnificent agile stubby bi-plane started to aged especially the plastic canopy and parts of the hard Depron tail started to fade its color while the servo soon jitters. The only way to save this species from extinction is by immortalized it into digital form.....so i manage to create replica version of Pitts into Phoenix R/C simulator. Everything looks exactly how it looks and fly in real world! Finally i could enjoy, share my pride and joy with the rest of the R/C community in virtual world! Btw at the time of the writing the HK Pitts Special for simulator release has yet to be announce since i need to take a break and have to type some documentation and packing before it could be available for free download. However you can enjoy some snapshots of builds and real action via gallery link below.
